Impacts of Cumulus Convective Parameterization Schemes on Summer Monsoon Precipitation Simulation over China

摘要 ByusingtheBetts-Miller-Janji’c,Grell-Devenyi,andKain-FritschcumulusconvectiveparameterizationschemesintheWeatherResearchandForecasting(WRF)model,longtimesimulationsfrom2000to2009areconductedtoinvestigatetheimpactsofdifferentcumulusconvectiveparameterizationschemesonsummermonsoonprecipitationsimulationoverChina.Theresultsshowthatalltheschemeshavethecapabilitytoreasonablyreproducethespatialandtemporaldistributionsofsummermonsoonprecipitationandthecorrespondingbackgroundcirculation.Theobservednorth-southshiftofmonsoonrainbeltisalsowellsimulatedbythethreeschemes.DetailedcomparisonindicatesthattheGrell-Devenyischemegivesabetterperformancethantheothers.Deficiencyinsimulatedwatervaportransportisonepossiblereasonfortheprecipitationsimulationbias.
