Rapid Fabrication of CdS Nanocrystals with Well Mesoporous Structure Under Ultrasound Irradiation at Room Temperature

摘要 Sphere-likemesoporousCdSnanocrystalswithhighcrystallinityandbigsurfaceareaweresuccessfullyfabricatedbyultrasoundirradiationatroomtemperature.Theas-synthesizedCdSwithandwithoutultrasoundirradiationwasinvestigatedbythecharacterizationsofX-raydiffraction(XRD),scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),transmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM),andBrunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)surfaceareas.ThephotocatalyticactivityoftheCdSwasevaluatedbyphotocatalyticdegradationofmethylorangeundervisiblelight(λ>420nm)irradiation.ApossiblemechanismfortheformationoftheCdSnanocrystalswithmesoporousstructureunderultrasoundirradiationwasproposed.TheresultsshowthatboththetemplateroleofthetriblockcopolymerofP123andtheeffectofultrasound-inducedaggregationaremainlyresponsiblefortheformationofmesoporousstructure.Ontheotherhand,theenergygeneratedfromacousticcavitationcaneffectivelyacceleratethecrystallizationprocessoftheamorphousCdS.
