摘要
Asoneofthemostimportanturbanlifelinesystems,awaterdistributionsystemcanbedamagedunderastrongearthquake,andthedamagecannoteasilybelocated,especiallyimmediatelyaftertheevent.Thisoftencausestremendousdifficultiestopost-earthquakeemergencyresponseandrecoveryactivities.Thispaperproposesamethodologytolocateseismicdamagetoawaterdistributionsystembymonitoringwatcrheadonlineatsomenodesinthewaterdistributionsystem.Anartificialneuralnetwork-basedinverseanalysismethodisdevelopedtoestimatethewaterheadvariationsatallnodesthatarenotmonitoredbasedonthewaterheadvariationsatthenodesthataremonitored.Themethodologyprovidesaquick,effective,andpracticalwaytolocateseismicdamagetoawaterdistributionsystem.
