摘要
Manystudieshaveexploredtheimportanceandinfluenceofplanetaryboundarylayerprocessesontropicalcyclones(TCs).However,fewstudieshavefocusedontheinfluenceoflandsurfaceprocessesontheactivityofTCs.TotesttheeffectofinitialperturbationsoflandsurfaceprocessesonTCs,alandsurfaceprocessperturbationmoduleisbuiltinaglobalensemblepredictionsystem.EnsembleexperimentsfortheTCsthatoccurredfrom12UTC22Augustto18UTC24November,2006showthatconsiderationoftheuncertaintieswithinthelandsurfaceprocesscouldincreasethepredictabilityoftheglobalensemblepredictionsystem.DetailedanalysisonTCXangsane(2006)indicatesthattheperturbationoflandsurfaceprocessesmayincreasethevariationofsensibleheatfluxandlatentheatflux.Meanwhile,theeffectfromlandsurfaceperturbationcanbetransferredtotheupperatmosphere,whichleadstobetterTCforecasts.
