TheIraqiWarbreakingoutonMarch20,2003undoubtedlymarksaturningpointincurrentinternationalrelations.Theinternationaldisputesaroundthiswarisnotonlyanembodimentofdifferentbeliefsandpositionsontheissueofwarandpeace,butmoreimportantlyademonstrationofthedeepskepticismandworrythroughouttheinternationalcommunityonthepossibleoutcomeofthewar,aswellasthefuturedevelopmentofAmericandiplomaticandmilitarypolicies.Allthesewillexertaprofoundandextensiveinfluenceonthetrendofdevelopmentofinternationalrelationsinthefuture.
