摘要 Inordertostudythefunctionalstructureofthetranscriptionterminatorsandthemechanismoftermination,asurveyofthechromatinstructure,includingthelocationofDNaseIhypersensitivesitesandthenucleosomearrangement,ofyeastADH1andFLPterminatorswasmade.TheresultsshowthatthereisnorelationshipbetweenthefunctionoftheterminatorsandtheexistenceofDNaseIhypersensitivesites.However,itisfoundthatthereisalwaysanucleosomeattheimmediateupstreamofthetranscrip-tionalterminationsites.Asacontrol,thechromatinstructuresofthepBR322DNAfragmentsontheyeastshuttervectorsarealsoinvestigatedatthesametime.TherandomnucleosomearrangementonthebacterialDNAinyeastagreeswiththepublishedreports.Anewhypothesis,aboutthemechanismoftranscriptionalterminationisputforwardandthereasonofdifferentnucleosomearrangementontheDNAswhichareori-ginallyfromdifferentspeciesinyeastisdiscussed.
