摘要
Accordingtothefiltrationmechanismandfiltrationformula,itisconsideredthatthesurfacearea,bulkdensityandgrainsizedistri-butionoffilter-aidarethemainfactorsaffectingthefiltrationrate.Onthebasisofanalysingphy-sicalandchemicalpropertiesofdiatomiteandper-lite,thescientificbasesforpreparationoffilteraidarediscussed.Itispossiblethatthecomplexfilteraid,whichismadeupoflowgradediatomiteandperlite,isfavourabletobuild-upafine"steely-bridgedstructure"forthefiltercake,anditsfiltrationperformanceofbeercouldbeimprovedasgoodasthatofcommercialfilter-aidmadefromhighgradediatomite.Theabovepointshavebeendemonstratedbytheresultsoflaboratorialandindustrialexperimentsofbeerfiltration.
