Double Difference Location of the Mainshock and Aftershocks of the Hutubi MS6.2 Earthquake That Occurred on December 8,2016-中国期刊网

摘要 ThemainshockandaftershocksoftheHutubiMS6.2earthquakeonDecember8,2016wererelocatedbyapplyingthedoubledifferencemethod,andwerelocated477earthquakesintheHutubiregion.Theearthquakerelocationresultsshowthattheaftershocksaredistributedintheeast-westdirectiontowardsthenorthsideofthesouthernmarginoftheJunggarBasinfault,andaremainlydistributedinthewesternregionofthemainshock.ThedistancebetweenthemainshockafterrelocationandthesouthernmarginoftheJunggarBasinfaultisobviouslyshortened.Combinedwiththefocalmechanismandthespatialdistributionofthemainshockandaftershocks,itisinferredthatthesouthernmarginoftheJunggarBasinfaultisthemainseismogenicstructureoftheHutubiearthquake.
