Multilevel photon communication on BPPM with convolutional coding-中国期刊网

摘要 Multilevelphotoncombinedwithbinarypulsepositionmodulation(BPPM)(Manchesterpulsedsignals),isintroducedinthisletter.Initially,errorprobabilityderivationandexplanationforfour-levelphotoncommunicationswiththatBPPMispresented.Next,the2-levelphotoncommunicationsmatchingwithBPPMisproposed.Forperformancecomparison,itisdonewiththattheconventionalschemebyfxingthebackgroundnoiseandalsoincreasingnumberofphotonperslot.Successfullywithapplyingconvolutionalcodingforsystemimproving,theproposedmultilevelphotononBPPMwiththiscodingschemeachieveshighergain.Finally,thisworkalsobeneftstoimprovingforfurtherperformancewhenconsideringwithmultilevelerrorcontrolcodingaswell.
