摘要
Naturalandventilatedcavitationsgeneratedonasmooth-nosedaxisymmetricbodywerestudiedexperimental-ly.Thecharacteristicsofsmallscaleandlocalizedfluctuationsof'steadycavities'weremeasuredbypressuretransducers.Comparisonsbetweennaturalandventilatedcavitiesatdiffer-entmeasuredpointsforseveralcavitationnumbersweredone.Itwasobservedthatthedominantfluctuationswereconcen-tratedinthefrequencyrangeofOHz-50Hzforallthecavitati-oncases,Similarshapesandmagnitudesofthefrequencyspectraweredetectedforbothnaturalandventilatedcavities.Muchlargerspectralamplitudeinthecavityclosureregionsuggestedasfluctuationssource.Frompartialcavitatingflowtosupercavitatingflow,thedominatfrequencyandthecorre-spondingamplitudedecreasedwithdecrasingcavitationnum-ber,whichmeantthatcavitybecamemoresteadywhiledevel-oping.
