Quantitative data about active tectonics and possible locations of strong earthquakes in the future in the northwestern Beijing

摘要 Deterministic,probabilisticandcomposite-gradingmethodsareusedtogetthepossiblelocationsofstrongearth-quakesinthefutureinNorwestBeijinganditsvicinitybasedonthequantitativedataandtheiraccuracyaboutactivetectonicsintheresearchareaandbyordering,somequestionsintheresultsarealsodiscussed.Itshowsthatthemostdangerousfaultsegmentsforstrongearthquakesinthefutureinclude:segmentsBandAofthesouthernboundaryfaultoftheYangyuanbasin,thesouthernboundaryfaultoftheXuanhuabasin,theeastsegmentofthesouthernHuai¢anfaultandtheeastsegmentofthenorthernYanggao-Tianzhenfault.ThemostdangerousareaisYangyuan-Shenjingbasin,thesecondoneisTianzhen-Huai¢an-XuanhuabasinandthethirddangerousareasareWanquan-ZhangjiakouandnortheastofYuxiantosouthwestofFanshan.
