A MODIFIED NONLINEAR DIFFUSION MODEL AND ITS APPLICATION TO IMAGE SMOOTHING AND EDGE DETECTION-中国期刊网

摘要 AmodifiedversionoftheCotte,Lions,MorelandCoiltheoryforimageselectivesmoothingandedgedetectionisproposed.Comparingwiththeirmodel,themostimportantadvantageofthismodificationisthattheconvolutionwithGaussianprocessesinthefilteringprocessisreplacedbysolvinganinitial-boundaryvalueproblemfortheheatequation,whichsimplifiesthenumericalschemetosomeextent.Numericalexperimentsonnaturalimagesarepresentedforthismodel.
