Research on fabricating Fe base amorphous alloy by bar plasma spraying

摘要 Sinceamorphousalloyshavewiderapplication,theycannotbefabricatedusingtheconventionalcoolingvelocity.ThebarmaterialplasmasprayingisadoptedtofabricateFebaseamorphousalloyinthisinvestigation.Thecrystallizationdegree,microstructure,micro-hardness,composition,crystallizationtemperatureoftheamorphousalloyandtheflyingrulesoftheatomizedparticlesintheprocessoftheplasmasprayaretested.Theresultsshowthatthealloypreparedhasthehighamorphousdegreeandhomogeneousmicrostructure,micro-hardnessandthecrystallizationtemperaturecanreach1187HVand531℃respectively.Theatomizationisverywellduringtheprocessofplasmaspraying;andthereishighthermalgradient,thecoolingvelocityreaches6.07×107K/s.
