摘要 Cellularmetabolismisaverycomplexprocess.Thebiochemicalpathwaysarefundamentalstructuresofbiology.Thesepathwayspossessanumberofregenerationstepswhichfacilitateenergyshuttlingonamassivescale.Thisfacilitatesthebio-chemicalpathwaystosustaintheenergycurrencyofthecells.Thisconcepthasbeenmimickedusingelectroniccircuitcom-ponentsandithasbeenusedtoincreasetheefficiencyofbio-energygeneration.Sixofthecarbohydratebiochemicalpathwayshavebeenchoseninwhichglycolysisistheprinciplepathway.Allthesixpathwaysareinterrelatedandcoordinatedinacom-plexmanner.Mimiccircuitshavebeendesignedforallthesixbiochemicalpathways.Thecomponentsofthemetabolicpath-wayssuchasenzymes,cofactorsetc.,aresubstitutedbyappropriateelectroniccircuitcomponents.Enzymesarerelatedtothegainoftransistorsbythebonddissociationenergiesofenzyme-substratemoleculesunderconsideration.Cofactorsandcoen-zymesarerepresentedbyswitchesandcapacitorsrespectively.Resistorsareusedforproperorientationofthecircuits.Theenergyobtainedfromthecurrentmethodsemployedforthedecompositionoforganicmatterisusedtotriggerthemimiccir-cuits.Asimilarenergyshuttleisobservedinthemimiccircuitsandthepercentageriseforeachcycleofcircuitfunctioningisfoundtobe78.90.Thetheoreticalcalculationshavebeenmadeusingasampleofdomesticwasteweighing1.182kg.Thecalculationsarrivedatfinallyspeakoftheefficiencyofthenovelmethodologyemployed.
