摘要
Adetailed3-DhailcloudnumericalmodelandparameterizationofmierophysiealprocessesweredescribedinPartⅠ(Hong1999)ofthisstudy.Inthispart,ahailcloudoccurringinXunyiarea.ShaanxiProvinceonJuly8,1997issimulatedbythemodeltoanalyzemechanismsofhailformationandhailsuppressionwithseeding.Theresultsshowthat97%ofhailembryosarefrozendrops.TheseedingexperimentswithAgIintermsofheightsshowthatiftheseedingismadebeforehailformation,theoptimumseedingpositionislocatedinthemaximumupdraftareaanditscenter,i.e.,AgIisseededinthezonewithhighwatercontenttobecoordinatedwithmaximumzoneoftheupdraft.Theseedingmakesconcentrationsofgraupelandfrozendropincreaseandtheiraveragemassorsizedecrease,sothattheproportionofconversionfromgraupelandfrozendropintohaildescendsgreatly,andthemassandconcentrationofhailstonearedecreasedtoachieveourpurposeforhailsuppression.
