Interactive transport of multi-view videos for 3DTV applications-中国期刊网

摘要 Theauthorsproposeanovelmethodfortransportingmulti-viewvideosthataimstokeepthebandwidthrequirementsonbothend-usersandserversaslowaspossible.Themethodisbasedonapplicationlayermulticast,whereeachendpointreceivesonlyaselectednumberofviewsrequiredforrenderingvideofromitscurrentviewpointatanygiventime.Thesetofselectedvideoschangesinrealtimeastheuser'sviewpointchangesbecauseofheadoreyemovements.Techniquesforreducingtheblack-outsduringfastviewpointchangeswereinvestigated.Theperformanceoftheapproachwasstudiedthroughnetworkexperiments.
