摘要
AparallelhybridlinearsolverbasedontheSchurcomplementmethodhasthepotentialtobalancetherobustnessofdirectsolverswiththeefficiencyofpreconditionediterativesolvers.However,whensolvinglarge-scalehighly-indefinitelinearsystems,thishybridsolveroftensuffersfromeitherslowconvergenceorlargememoryrequirementstosolvetheSchurcomplementsystems.Toovercomethischallenge,weinthispaperdiscusstechniquestopreprocesstheSchurcomplementsystemsinparallel.Numericalresultsofsolvinglarge-scalehighly-indefinitelinearsystemsfromvariousapplicationsdemonstratethatthesetechniquesimprovethereliabilityandperformanceofthehybridsolverandenableefficientsolutionsoftheselinearsystemsonhundredsofprocessors,whichwaspreviouslyinfeasibleusingexistingstate-of-the-artsolvers.
