摘要
Thebandwidthandthedurationofincidentpulsedbeamareprovedtoplayimportantrolesinmodifyingthenonlinearimageofamplitude-typescatterer.Itisfoundthattheinitiallypositivechirp-typebandwidthcansuppressthenonlinearimage,whilethenegativeonecanenhanceit,andthatbotheffectsareinverselyproportionaltotheincidentpulseduration.Numericalsimulationsfurtherdemonstratethatthelocationofnonlinearimageisattheconjugateplaneofthescattererandthat,fornegativelypre-chirpedpulsedbeam,thenonlinearimagepeakintensitycanbehigherthanthatinthecorrespondingmonochromaticcaseundercertainconditions.Moreovertheeffectofgroupvelocitydispersiononnonlinearimageisfoundtobesimilartothatofchirp-typebandwidth.
