摘要
Phaseandamplituderegenerationarenecessaryfordegradeddifferentialphase-shiftkeyingcommunicationsystems.Thispaperproposesaregeneratorbasedonsemiconductoropticalamplifierfordifferentialphase-shiftkeyingsignals.Thekeyregenerationmechanismistheoreticallyanalysed.Theeffectivenessofsemiconductoropticalamplifierbasedregeneratorisdemonstratedbycomparingthebiterrorrateandeyediagramsbeforeandafterregenerationfor40-Gbit/sdifferentialphase-shiftkeying1080-kmtransmissionsystems.Theresultsshowthatregenerationeffectsareverywell.Biterrorrateislessthan1012withtheregenerator.
