简介:TheControlRoomLogbook(CRL)isdesignedtoimproveandreplacethepaperlogbookstraditionallyusedintheHEPacceleratorcontrolroom.Itsfeaturesbenefittheon-linecoordinator,theshiftoperators,andtheremoteobservers,Thispaperexplainssomeofthemostattractivefeaturesforeachoftheseroles.Thefeaturesincludetheabilitytoconfigurethelogbookforthespecificneedsofacollaboration,alargevarietyofentrytypesoperatorcanaddbysimplyclickinganddragging,andaflexiblewebinterfacefortheremoteobservertokeepupwithcontrolroomactivities.TheentriesaresavedasUTF-8basedXMLfiles,whichallowedustogivethedatastructureandmeaningsuchthatitcaneasilybeparsedinthepresentandfarintothefuture.TheXMLtagdataisalsoindexedinarelationaldatabase,makingqueriesondates,keyworks,entrytypeandothercriteriafeasibleandfast.TheCRLisusedintheD0controlroom.Thispresentationalsodiscussesourexperiencewithdeployment,platformindependenceandotherinterestingissuesthatarosewiththeinstallationanduseoflogbook.
简介:Anovelwaterproofelectronicsphygmomanometerispresentedinthispaper,thespecialdesignofsealingstructureisusedinthissphygmomanometerthatallowsthesystemtofunctionnormallyinwater.ThesystemalsoadoptstherigidaircylinderasairsourcetoensureaccuratedetectionandchoosestheMP3V5050piezoresistivetransducertoensurethemeasurementprecisionofthesystolicanddiastolicpressure.TI’sMSP430FG437isusedasthecentralprocessorsothatthesystemcanbeofadvantagesoflow-power,fastdigitalprocessingandhigh-reliability.Thesphygmomanometerwasvalidatedbythreegroupsofparticipants.Theexperimentaldataindicatesthatthemeasuredvaluesofthiswaterproofelectronicsphygmomanometerareconsistentwiththeresultsofcommonelectricsphygmomanometer,themeasureerrorislessthan5mmHg,andthesystemisstableandcredible.Sothewaterproofelectronicsphygmomanometercanrealizereal-timemonitoringofbloodpressureandheartrateinthewaterandotherspecialenvironment.

简介:TheItalianGovernmenthasrecentlyapprovedtheconstructionofaNationalCenterforOncologicalHadrontherapy(CNAO),TERA(FoundationforOncologicalHadrontherapy)willleadthehightechnologyprojectsoftheCNAO,whosemachinedesignisaspin-offtothemedicalworldofthecollaborationwithCERN.TheCERNEDMS(EngineeringDataManagementSystem)wasinitiallylaunchedatCERNtosupporttheLHCprojectbuthassincebecomeageneralserviceavailableforalldivisionsandrecognizedexperiments.AsTERAiscloselyassociatedtoCERN,TERAdecidedtoprofitfromEDMSandtouseittosupporttheambitiousQualityAssuranceplanfortheCNAOproject.WiththisEDMSprojectTERAtransfersknow-howthathasbeendevelopedintheHEPCommunitytoasocialsectorofmajorimportancethatalsohashigh-densityinformationmanagementneeds.ThefeaturesavailableintheCERNEDMSsystemprovidethetoolsformanagingthecompletelifecycleofanytechnicaldocumentincludingadistributedapprovalprocessandacontrolleddistributedcollaborativeworkenvironmentusingtheWorldWideWeb.Thesystemallowsmanagementofstructuresrepresentingprojectsandrelativedocumentsincludingdrawingswithinworkingcontextsandwithacustomizablereleaseprocedure.TERAiscustomizingCERNEDMStodocumenttheCNAOprojectactivities,toensurethatthemedicalaccelecratoranditsauxiliaryinstallationscanbeproperlymanagedthroughoutitslifecycle,fromdesigntomaintenanceandpossiblydismantling.ThetechnicalperformancerequirementsofEDMSareidenticaltothoseforLHCandCERNingeneral.Wewilldescribewhatwehavelearnedabouthowtoset-upanEDMSproject,andhowitbenefitsachallenginginitiativeliketheCNAOProjectoftheTERAcollaboration.Theknowledgemanagedbythesystemwillfacilitatelaterinstallationsofsimilarcenters(plannedforLyonandStockholm)andwillallowthereuseofexperiencegainedinItaly.
