简介:Objective:Toexploretheeffectofmorphologicalchangesinthedevelopmentofcondylomaacuminatum(CA)MaterialsandMethods:LesionsinfivepatientswithCAwereobserved.Results:Uponelectronmicroscopy,themostcharacteristicfeatureofthelesionsimportantfordiagnosis,wasthepresenceofdistinctperinuclearvacuolizations,orso-calledkoilocytes,amongsomeepithelialcells.Thesecellspossessedhyperchromaticnuclei,swollenmitochondria,dilatedendoplasmicreticulumanddissolvedglycogen.Therewereinterchromatingranulesandperichromatingranulesinsomenuclei.Moreoversomevirusparticleswerealsoseeninthenucleiofsomeinfectedcells.Conclusions:Theultrastructuralfindingsmaybeusedtohistopathologicallyexplainthepathogenesisandmechanismofthisdisease,anditishelpfulfordiagnosisofCA.
简介:Objective:Infectionofhumanpapillomavirusincondylomaacuminatum(CA)wasdetectedbyrealtimefluorescencequantitativePCR(FQ-PCR)technique.Methods:SpecimensofCA-DNAquantificationfrom94caseswereexaminedbyrealtimeFQ-PCRtechniqueand32caseswerecomparedwiththesamemethodafter10-daystreatment.Results:CA-DNAwasfoundinallpatients,withanaverageof4.0×10^6copies/ul.After10daysoftreatment,theaveragewas2.1×10^5copies/ul.TherewasasignificantdifferenceintheaverageamountofCA-DNAbeforeandafterthetreatment.Conclusion:RealtimeFQ-PCRisagoodmethodforexaminingCA-DNAamountanditcandirectthetreatmentofCA.
简介:Objective:Toinvestigatetheeffectofactivation-in-ducedcelldeath(AICD)oncellularimmunefunctioninthecondylomaacuminatum(CA).Methods:Peripheralbloodmononuclearcells(PBMC)wereisolatedfromnormalhealthyindividuals(controlgroup)andpatientswithCA.PBMCwereculturedwithPHA-Pfor48hinvitro.ApoptosisofthePBMCwasdetectedbyflowcytometry.Supernatantcytokines(IL-2andIL-10)wereassayedbyELISA.Results:TherateofPBMCapoptosisinbothCAgroupandcontrolgroupinfreshPBMCwasverylowandsimilarinbothgroups(P>0.05).TherateofPBMCapoptosiswithintheCAgroupwasnoticeablyincreasedcomparedtothatofthecontrol(P<0.001)afterPBMCwereculturedfor48h.ThelevelofIL-2wassignificantlylowerintheCAgroupthaninthecontrolgroup(P<0.001),ThelevelofIL-10wassignificantlyhigherintheCAgroupcomparedtothecontrolgroup(P<0.001).Conclusion:StudyresultsindicatethatAICDmayaffectcellularmediatedimmunefunctionandplayanimportantroleinthepathogenesisofCA.
简介:Objective:TostudytheexpressionofFasandBcl-2proteinsonTlymphocytesubsetsintheperipheralbloodofrelapsingpatientswithcondylomaacuminatum(CA)andhealthycontrols.Methods:Flowcytometry(permeabizationandstainingprocedurewithconjugatedantibodies)wasused.Results:WeobservedthattheexpressionofFasproteinonCD4^+TlymphocytesubsetofCApatientswassignificantlyhigherthanthatofhealthycontrols(P<0.01).Conclusions:IncreasedexpressionofFasproteinonCD4^+Tlymphocytesubsetmaybeacauseofde-creasedpercentageofCD4^+Tlymphocytesubset.ThisinducestheincreasedratioofCD4^+/CD8^+.
简介:Abstract:Thisstudyinvestigatedtherelationshipbetweenhumanpapillomavirus(HPV)genotypeandexpressionofp53andp21^WAH1.Expressionofp53andp21^WAH1in35casesofcondylomaacuminatumspecimensinfectedbyHPV6/llandHPV16/18werestudiedusingimmunohistochemicalstaining.Allspecimensofthecondylomaacuminatumcasewerepositiveforexpressionofp53andp21^WAH1.Theexpressionofp53incondylomaacuminatuminfectedbyHPV16/18wassignificantlylowerthanthatinspecimensinfectedbyHPV6/ll.However,expressionofp21wAHbetweenthetwogroupswasnotsignificantlydifferent.Expressionofp53incondylomaacuminatumislikelyrelatedtoHPVgenotype,expressionofp21^WAH1wasnotrelatedtoHPVgenotype.
简介:Objective:Tostudytheexpressionlevelsofplatelet-derivedgrowthfactor(PDGF)andgranulocytecolony-stimulatingfactor(G-CSF)inperipheralbloodandtheirroleinthepathogenesisofCondylomaacuminatum(CA).Methods:Seraweretakenfrom70patientswithCondylomaacuminatumandcomparedwith35healthycontrols.PDGFandG-CSFinserumwerequantitatedusingadualantibodysandwichenzyme-linkedimmunoabsorbentassay(ELISA).Results:SerumconcentrationsofPDGFandG-CSFweresignificantlyincreasedinpatientswithCondylomaacuminatum(CA)comparedtocontrols(P<0.001andP<0.005respectively).SerumlevelsofPDGFandG-CSFcorrelatedwithclinicalseverityofCA,butnosignificantdifferencewasobservedbetweendifferentdurationofdiseasegroups.AsignificantpositivecorrelationwasnoticedbetweenneutrophilcountandG-CSFlevels(γ=0.38,P<0.001),andtheneutrophilcountshowednosignificantcorrelationwithPDGF.Conclusion:TheresultsindicatedthatincreasedexpressionofPDGFandG-CSFinperipheralbloodmightbeinvolvedinpathogenesisofCA.
