简介:Inrecentyears,majordevelopingcountrieshavebeenplayingaprominentroleinfacilitatingtherecoveryoftheworldeconomy,restructuringtheinternationalsystemandreshapingtheworldorder.Theyhavebecomeapowerfuldrivingforceforrapiddevelopmentanddrasticchangesintheworldandprofoundrestructuringofinternationalrelations.Meanwhile,theyareencounteringdifficultiesandchallengesineffortstodeveloptheirnationaleconomyandraisethelivingstandardsoftheirpeople.Therearecontradictionsandcompetitionamongthem.Nevertheless,astheyhavehugedevelopmentpotentialsandtheiradvantagesoutweighdisadvantagesinthecourseofrapiddevelopment.Theyfeeltheneedtostrengthunityandcooperationinworldaffairs.Majordevelopingcountrieswillmakeanevengreatercontributiontoworldpeaceanddevelopmentandhelplargenumbersofdevelopingcountriesseekabetterfuturethroughjointefforts.
