  • 简介:Inthispaper,wepresentacloudservicemodelofmultilingualhome-schoolcommunications(MHSC)withtheDrupalframeworktoprovideafriendlylearningenvironmentforthestudentsfromtransnationalmarriages.Thetransnationalmarriageisaphenomenonwithever-increasinginTaiwanandaroundtheworld.Forastudentwhohasatransnationalforeignmother,home-schoolcommunicationisoftenanobstaclebecausetheforeignmotherhaslanguagedifficultyunderstandingthedeliveredmessagesinthecommunicationbookfromteachers.Inordertoimproveparent-teachercommunicationsforthetransnationalfamilies,wedesignedandconstructedthecloudserviceplatformwithonlinemultilingualcommunicationsandtranslationservicefunctions,suchthatteacherscanpreparedifferentsheetsofmultilingualmessagesforhome-schoolcommunicationbooksandforeignmotherscanreadthemessagesfromtheteachersintheirnativelanguagesthroughthewebinterface.

  • 简介:创立于19世纪的曼彻斯特艺术学院近日迎来了其建校175周年纪念日,同时新的学院建筑也正式落成。新大楼传达了各种艺术与设计学科之间的内部关系,并鼓励学生彼此合作,享受跨界工作的体验。大楼拥有一扇巨大的前窗,向每一个路过的行人展示这些作品。建筑的核心功能包括开放的工作室、工房和教学空间,还有一个位于七层的“垂直画廊”,这个垂直画廊为学院的学生作品提供了一个展示空间,并成为学院本身的橱窗。设计师在楼梯井中使用了未经处理的材料,展现了一种返璞归真的感觉和工厂审美特色;在楼梯和跨越垂直画廊的走廊上使用了橡木衬层,这个材料虽不是主体结构材料,但也很重要。这些部位提供了一种温暖的感觉,使四四方方的钢铁与混凝土结构边角显得柔和。

  • 简介:ThisresearchisanevaluationofthemethodologyusedintheenvironmentalprogramsinsecondaryeducationofHeraklionPrefectureofCreteintheframeofeducationforsustainabledevelopment(ESD).Anevaluationtoolwasappliedontheapplicationforms(AFs)andthefinalreports(FRs)oftheschoolprogramsinordertoassesshowtheypromotesustainabilityandwhethertheysatisfythegeneralguidelinesandprinciplesoftheproposedmethodologyofESD.Theeducationalmethodology,whichwasusedintheprograms,combinedelementsfromthemethodofresearchessayanddidacticresearchandwasnotrichininnovativeeducationaltechniques.Almostallprograms,moreorless,promotedtheinterdisciplinaryapproach,theteamworkwithundertakingofresponsibilities,divisionofroles,andpromotionofself-action.Severalactivitiestookplaceoutsidetheschoolonthefield.
