摘要
Theultra-low-frequency(ULF)electromagneticemissionisrecentlyrecognizedasoneofthemostpromisingcandidatesforshort-termearthquake(EQ)prediction.ThispaperreviewspreviousconvincingevidenceonthepresenceofULFemissionsbeforethreemajorEQs.Then,wepresentfurtherstatisticalstudyontheULFoccurrence,ournetworksofULFmonitoringindifferentspatialscalesinJapanandfinallywepresentseveralsignalprocessingstoidentifytheseismogenicemissionsbyshowinglatestresultsforrecentlargeEQs.
