摘要
Theoff-planepropagationofelectromagnetic(EM)wavesinatwo-dimensional(2D)graphitephotoniccrystalstructurewasstudiedusingtransfermatrixmethod.Transmissionspectracalculationsindicatethatsucha2Dstructurehasacommonbandgapfrom0.202to0.2035c/aforbothHandEpolarizationsandforalloff-planeanglesform0°upto90°.Thepresenceofsuchanabsolutebandgapimpliesthat2Dgraphitephotoniccrystal,whichismucheasierandmorefeasibletofabricate,canexhibitsomepropertiesofathree-dimensional(3D)photoniccrystal.
