Focusislaidontheadaptivepracticaloutput-trackingproblemofaclassofnonlinearsystemswithhigh-orderlower-triangularstructureanduncontrollableunstablelinearization.Usingthemodifiedadaptiveadditionofapowerintegratortechniqueasabasictool,anewsmoothadaptivestatefeedbackcontrollerisdesigned.Thiscontrollercanensureallsignalsoftheclosed-loopsystemsaregloballyboundedandoutputtrackingerrorisarbitrarysmall.
