Inthe20yearsaftertheUNEnvironmentandDevelopmentConferencein1992,theessentialissuesinrelationtosustainabledevelopmenthavebeenunsolved.Theupcoming"Rio+20"conferenceputthefocusontheshifttowardsgreendevelopment.Toachievethisrequiresthechangeofsomeideologiesthatdominatehumanactions,suchastheconceptsofwealth,welfareandsecurity,anditalsorequireidentifyingthenewpositionofnatureresources,especiallythepositionofforest.Itwaspointedoutinthepaperthatforestisthefoundationofsocioeconomicdevelopmentandconstitutesbasicwealth,basicwelfareandbasicsecurityofthewholecommunityunderthegreendevelopmentcontext.Nevertheless,itisamusttoaggressivelyinvestanddevelopgreeneconomy.Itwasalsoproposedtosetupforestrydevelopmentorganizations,investmentmechanisms,policysystemandresearch&educationsystemcompatiblewithgreendevelopment.Moreover,someforestrypoliciesthatshouldberevisedwerecombed.
