Acoupleofyearsago,theBostonMarathonpromoteditseventwithaseriesofinspiringbillboards.Allofthemwereblackandwhiteimagesofarunner,withaquotethatexpressedtheirreasonforrunning.Somebillboardswereoffiallymobileinpidualsandotherswereofthosewhoweredisabledbutweredeterminedtocrossthefinishline,eitherthroughafamilymember＇sorfriend＇sassistance,orthroughtheuseofaprostheticdevice.Eachhaddifferentquotes,butoneinparticularreallystoodout：therunner＇sresponsewassimple：＂BecauseIcan.＂
