Objective:Tosearchfortheinterferenceoppoaunityoffatemboliafterfractureoflongboneorpelvis.Methods:86patientswereselectedandpidedintourineketonepositivegroup(UKPgroup)andurineketonenegativegroup(UKNgroup).Theclinicaldata(includingclinicalandsub-clinicalfatembolism)ofallcaseswereanalyzed.Theincidencerateoffatembo-lismandtheserumtriglyceride(TG)levelwerecomparedbetweenthetwogroups.Results:7patientswithketonuriahadfatem-bolism,3ofthemhadprogressivebloodsedimentationandplateletabnormality.TheincidencerateoffatembolismandtheserumTGlevelinUKPgroupwashigherthanthatinUKNgroup.TherewasasignificantdifferencebetweentheUKPgroup(P<0.05)andtheUKNgroup(P<0.01).Conclusion:TheresultssuggestedthatthepatientshaveahigherriskoffatembolismwhentheserumTGlevelishigh,andresultsinketonuria.Sothiscanbeconsideredastheinterferenceopportunityofthefatemboli.
