简介:Inthispapermodellingofthetranslationalmotionoftransportationrail-guidedcartwithropesuspendedpayloadisconsidered.Thelinearlymovingcart,drivenbyatravelmechanism,ismodelledasadiscretesixdegreesoffreedom(DOF)dynamicsystem.ThehoistingmechanismforloweringandliftingthepayloadisconsideredandisincludedinthedynamicmodelasoneDOFsystem.DifferentialequationsofmotionofthecartelementsarederivedusingLagrangiandynamicsandaresolvedforasetofreal-lifeconstantparametersofthecart.Atwo-sidedinteractionwasobservedbetweentheswingingpayloadandthetravelmechanism.Resultsforkinematicalandforceparametersofthesystemareobtained.Averificationoftheproposedmodelwasconducted.

简介:ThephotonicspinHalleffect(SHE)hasbeenintensivelystudiedandwidelyapplied,especiallyinspinphotonics.However,theSHEisweakandisdifficulttodetectdirectly.Inthispaper,weproposeamethodtoenhanceSHEwiththeguided-wavesurface-plasmonresonance(SPR).Bycoveringadielectricwithhighrefractiveindexonthesurfaceofsilverfilm,thephotonicSHEcanbegreatlyenhanced,andagianttransverseshiftofhorizontalpolarizationstateisobservedduetotheevanescentfieldenhancementneartheinterfaceatthetopdielectriclayerandair.Themaximumtransverseshiftofthehorizontalpolarizationstatewith11.5μmisobtainedwhenthethicknessofSifilmisoptimum.ThereisatleastanorderofmagnitudeenhancementincontrastwiththetransverseshiftintheconventionalSPRconfiguration.OurresearchisimportantforprovidinganeffectivewaytoimprovethephotonicSHEandmayoffertheopportunitytocharacterizetheparametersofthedielectriclayerwiththehelpofweakmeasurementsanddevelopmentofsensorsbasedonthephotonicSHE.
简介:Weinvestigatethethree-dimensional(3D)scatteringproblemofanincidentplaneshearhorizontalwavebyapartlythrough-thicknessholeinanisotropicplate,inwhichtheLambwavemodesarealsoincludedduetothemodeconversionsbythescatteringobstacleinthe3Dproblem.AnanalyticalmodelispresentedsuchthatthewavefieldsareexpandedinallofpropagatingandevanescentSHmodesandLambmodes,andthescatteredfar-fieldsofthreefundamentalguidedwavemodesareanalyzednumericallyfordifferentsizesoftheholesandfrequencies.ThenumericalresultsareverifiedbycomparingwiththoseobtainedbyusingtheapproximatePoisson/Mindlinplatemodelforsmallholeradiusandlowfrequency.ItisalsofoundthatthescatteringpatternsaredifferentfromthoseoftheSOwaveincidence.Ourworkisusefulforquantitativeevaluationoftheplate-likestructurebyultrasonicguidedwaves.
