简介:Inthepresentpaper,theauthorreportstheresultsofacupunctureofHouding(GV19)andotheracupointsselectedalongthemeridianfortreatingsciatica.Atotalof92sciaticapatientswererandomlydividedintoHoudinggroup(n=62)andcontrolgroup(n=30).InHoudinggroup,patientsweretreatedmainlywithpuncturingHouding(GV19),combinedwithHuantiao(GB30)whennecessary.Incontrolgroup,patientsweretreatedwithHuantiao(GB30),Yanglingquan(GB34)orZhibian(BL54),Weizhong(BL40),Chengshan(BL57),Kunlun(BL60),etc.whichwereselectedalongtherouteofmeridian.Resultsindicatedthatfollowing10sessionsoftreatment,inHouingandcontrolgroups,ofthe62and30cases,44and15werebasicallycured,18and10wereimproved,0and5failedinthetreatment,withthetotaleffectiveratesbeing100%and83,3%respectively.ThetherapeuticeffectofHouding(GV19)issignificantlysuperiortothatofacupointsselectedalongthemeridian.
简介:Objective:Toobservetheeffectofelectroacupuncture(EA)onMeniere'sdisease.Methods:Atotalof114cases(38malesand76females)ofMeniere'sdiseaseweretreatedwithEAofErmen(耳门TE21),Tinggong(听宫SI19),Tinghui(听会GB2),Yifeng(NFDB1风TE17),Fengchi(风池GB20)andBaihui(百会GV20).Thetreatmentwasgiven3timesaweek,9timesaltogether.Follow-upwasmadeattheendofthe3rd,6thand12thmonthsaftertreatment.Results:Follow-upin114patientsshowedthatafterEAtreatment,63cases(55.26%)werecured,30(26.31%)hadremarkableimprovementintheirsymptoms,10(8.77%)respondedwithimprovementand11(9.65%)failedinthetreatment,withatotaleffectiverateof90.35%.Conclusion:EAtreatmentwaseffectiveincontrollingMeniere'sdiseasepatients'symptomsandreducingattack.

简介:Objective:Toevaluatethetherapeuticeffectofacupunctureinthetreatmentofdepressivepsychosis.Methods:Atotalof62casesofdepressivepsychosispatientswererandomlydividedintotreatmentgroup(n=32)andcontrolgroup(n=30).AcupointsusedintreatmentgroupwerebilateralHegu(LI4),bilateralTaichong(LR3),Baihui(GV20)andYintang(EX-HN3).PatientsofcontrolgroupwereaskedtotakeFluoxertinehydrochloride20mg/d.ThetherapeuticeffectwasassessedusingHamilton'sdepression(HAMD)scales.Results:After8weeks'treatment,intreatmentandcontrolgroups,4and3caseswerecured,8and6experiencedmarkedimprovement,14and14hadimprovement,6and7hadnoeffect,withtheeffectiveratesbeing81.25%and76.66%separately,andnosignificantdifferencewasfoundbetweentwogroupsinHAMDscales(P>0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncturetherapyisaneffectivemethodfortreatmentofdepressivepsychosis.

简介:Objective:Toobservethetherapeuticeffectofoculo-acupuncturetherapyinthetreatmentofcerebralinfarctioninducedhemiplegia.Methods:58casesofstrokepatientswererandomlydividedintotreatmentgroup(n=30)andcontrolgroup(n=28).Intreatmentgroup,onthebasisofmedicationplusrehabilitationtreatment,patientsvoluntarilyacceptedoculo-acupuncturetherapy(acupunctureofUpper-JiaoAreaandLower-JiaoArea).Incontrolgroup,patientsonlyacceptedmedicationandrehabilitationtreatment.ThetherapeuticeffectwasevaluatedwithBrunstrom's6-stagesAssessingMethod.Results:After24sessionsoftreatment,theratiosofthediseasedlimbsreachingstageⅥandmoreinfunctionalactivityinthepatientsoftreatmentgroupincreasedfrom16.7%(upper-limb)and20.0%(lower-limb)beforetreatmentto70.0%and90.0%respectively;whileincontrolgroup,thoseratiosoftheupperandlowerlimbsincreasedfrom10.7%and28.6%beforetreatmentto39.2%and60.7%separately.Therewasasignificantdifferencebetweentwogroupsinthetherapeuticeffect(P<0.05).Conclusion:Oculo-acupunctureplusmedicationissuperiortosimplemedicationtreatmentinimprovingfunctionalactivityofthehemiplegiclimbs.
