简介:Byanalyzinghigher-accuracylocationdataoftheTangshanearthquakesequence,acleardistributionpatternofthreeaftershockbeltsintheNE,NWW,andNWdirectionsofhasbeenobtained.TheanalysisrevealsthreeruptureplanesofstrongeventsofMS7.8,MS7.1andMS6.9inthesequence.Itindicatesthatthecomplexpatterniscloselyrelatedtotheearthquakesource,andtheNE-,NWW-andNW-trendingregionalfaultzones,whichhavebeenrevealedbytheresearchofthepre-seismicityanomaly.Insummary,thesourceislocatedinthejunctionofthethreefaultzones,andtheruptureplanesofthethreestrongeventslocatedinthesourcecanberegardedasthelockedsegmentsonthethreefaultzones.Onthesegrounds,thepaperexplainsthecomplexityofthesourceandepicentraldistributionofaftershocks.

简介:Wesystematicallystudiedtheinfluenceofmagneticfieldonzero-linemodes(ZLMs)ingrapheneanddemonstratedthephysicaloriginoftheirenhancedrobustnessbyemployingnoneqnilibriumGreen'sfunctionsandtheLandauerBiittikerformula.Wefoundthataperpendicularmagneticfieldcanseparatethewavefunctionsofthecounter-propagatingkinkstatesintooppositedirections.Specifically,theseparationvanishesatthechargeneutralitypointandincreasesastheFermileveldeviatesfromthechargeneutralitypointandcanreachamagnitudecomparabletothewavefunctionspreadatamoderatefieldstrength.SuchspatialseparationofoppositelypropagatingZLMseffectivelysuppressesbackseatteringandismoresignificantunderzigzagboundaryconditionthailunderarmchairboundarycondition.Moreover,thepresenceofmagneticfieldenlargesthebulkgapandsuppressestheboundstates,therebyfurtherreducingthescattering.ThesemechanismseffectivelyincreasethemeanfreepathsoftheZLMstoapproximately1|iniinthepresenceofadisorder.

简介:Authenticationperframeisanimplicitnecessityforsecurityinwirelesslocalareanetworks(WLANs).WeproposeanovelperframesecureauthenticationschemewhichprovidesauthenticationtodataframesinWLANs.Theschemeinvolvesnocryptographicoverheadsforauthenticationofframes.Itutilizesthesequencenumberoftheframealongwiththeauthenticationstreamgeneratorsforauthentication.Hence,itrequiresnoextrabitsormessagesfortheauthenticationpurposeandalsonochangeintheexistingframeformatisrequired.Theschemeprovidesauthenticationbymodifyingthesequencenumberoftheframeatthesender,andthatthemodificationisverifiedatthereceiver.ThemodifiedsequencenumberisprotectedbyusingtheXORoperationwitharandomnumberselectedfromtherandomstream.TheauthenticationislightweightduetothefactthatitrequiresonlytrivialarithmeticoperationslikethesubtractionandXORoperation.
简介:SequencevariationofpartialcytochromebgenesbetweentwoCoiliaspecies,C.ectenesandC.mystus,wasinvestigated.Ofthe402nucleotides,twenty-seven(6.72%)arepolymorphicandallaresynonymoussubstitutions.Atthethirdpositionsofgeneticcondonofcytochromebgene,thetwospeciesshowanextremeanti-Gbias(<4%)andapronouncedbiastowardsAandC(>68%).Thereisnoaminoacidsequencedivergencebetweenthepartialcytochromebgenesofthetwospecies,indicatingaclosegeneticrelationshipbetweenthem.Thek-2pgeneticdistanceofpartialcytochromebsegmentofthetwospeciesis0.072,suggestingthatthespecieswereseparated3.6Maago,inthemiddlePliocene.Ourresultrevealsthatthecytochromebgeneisanappropriatemarkerforstudiesofpopulationgeneticstructuresandphylogeographicpatternsofthetwospecies.
